When lighting your candle for the first time, always burn for a minimum of 2 hours or until the wax melts across the entire surface and to the edges of the jar. This will prevent tunnelling and help to create an even burn.
DO NOT burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at one time. This can cause damage the to the wick and heat the jar to undesirable temperatures.
Before each burn, trim wick (1/4 inch) to promote an even burn, steady flame and to ensure your candle is burning gently. If your wick is too long., the candle will burn quicker and smoke causing a blackening around the edges of the jar.
• Once the wax falls below 1.25cm, discontinue use.
• DO NOT leave your candles unattended and place them away from drafts, children and pets.
• Always place candles on a heat-resistant base and set on a level stable surface.
• Keep candles away from sunlight and heat sources and always burn candles at least 10cm away from each other.
